Forest park peninsula west of Old Town. 172m summit with panoramic views. Jewish cemetery, hermit caves. ~45 min climb.

Sandy beach (rare in Croatia!) east of the port. Shallow water, family-friendly. ~15 min walk from Riva.

⚠️ Marjan Hill: The path is steeper and longer than it looks. Wear proper shoes, bring water. The views from the top are absolutely worth it though!

Perfectly preserved medieval island town. Cathedral of St. Lawrence, Kamerlengo fortress, charming squares. ~2h visit.

🚨 Trogir timing: Day trips to Trogir conflict with the noon Roman Guard ceremony β€” see Parking Lot below. If you do go, leave Split by 10 AM and be back by 4 PM. Bus #37 from Split bus station.

βš–οΈ Marjan vs Beach: If it's too hot for the 45-min climb, swap Marjan for Firula beach β€” sandy, shallow, 15 min walk from the Riva.

βš–οΈ Cathedral bell tower: If the line is long at 10:30 AM, skip the climb β€” the Guard ceremony is the priority. Views from Marjan are better anyway.
